Road Safety for Life - in the news
The Road Safety for Life project gained more traction thanks to a well-written article which was published in the 11 March 2014 edition of the Southern Gazette newspaper. The article highlighted the inspiration behind the project and also acted as a call-out for people affected by road trauma to assist in moderating our website.
Australia Day road safety signs
While celebrating this great country of ours was on the minds of the thousands who gathered all over the city of Perth on the Australia Day long weekend 2014, road safety messages flickered on brightly lit signs to remind us of other priorities, namely getting home safely.
Signs were erected at key points across the city - South Perth, Trigg Beach and City Beach - and messages to be patient while driving, to be safe on our roads and to keep a good attitude while driving were delivered to drivers and pedestrians alike.
Road safety message delivered to thousands
The Road Safety for Life organisation erected signs at Paterson Stadium in Perth during the AFL preliminary finals on 21 September 2013, delivering road safety messages to thousands of people who attended the game or drove past.
